Content Warnings are and have been an invaluable resources for me, not only as a writer but also as a reader.

While I believe that there is absolutely a need for work that delves into events and topics that would merit a content warning, there are responsibilities that come with that kind of work. This includes making sure that others are aware of exactly what to expect when they go to interact with an individual piece.

For me, writing is a way to explore the world and all the possibilities that it has to offer -- but that should never be at the expense of another's mental health. We're all in this strange, wonderful journey together; it only makes sense to take care of each other.
